Arrive & the nursery
Transfer in via Lahad Datu, orientation at the INFAPRO base, and an afternoon in the nurseries learning how dipterocarps are raised from wings to saplings.
Planting day
Morning tree-planting with named signboards (maintained for five years), then a guided walk through successive planting years — a living timeline of recovery. Night walk for frogs and moths.
Regeneration & departure
A final birding walk through the regrowth — busy forest, this — then the transfer out.
